New York, N.Y.
I'm Ray, a product photographer who moved from the West to build a life and a career in New York City.
My work centers on clean, bright photography that lets the product do the talking, whether that's a beautifully packaged snack or a carefully designed skincare line. I draw inspiration from Irving Penn and Edward Weston, and that influence shows up in how I think about light, form, and texture on every shoot.
Over the past 9 years, I've held senior and lead photographer roles across three companies, shaping the visual direction for each brand's product line.
I can take a project from a rough idea to a finished shoot, or step in wherever your team already is. Years spent working with an Asian-owned company taught me how much authentic cultural representation matters in imagery, and I bring that same care to every brand I shoot for. I obsess over the details, and I care about telling your product's story right, not just making it look good.
