Ray Bourgault
Brooklyn, NY.
Colorado born and raised, I moved to Los Angeles at age 17 and then landed in Salt Lake City in 2011. I fell in love with the unique city and unfortunately for Utah, I decided to stay for many years. In February 2020, I made the jump to the big city and I am currently enjoying my career in Brooklyn more than I could have imagined!
Specializing in product photography and digital retouching, I am fascinated by commercial products, beauty, and fashion. I live for exploring creativity and pushing myself until I either laugh or cry. Still-life legends like Irving Penn and Edward Weston inspire me to combine classic techniques and a fresh mind to the world of commercial product photography. Yousuf Karsh speaks to my soul. Enjoy! Or don't.
